Shah Rukh Khan dazzles

shahrukh khan
The crowd lapped with glee Khan’s success mantra at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium, where he donned the avatar of a management guru anchoring a B-School Quiz organised by the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM).

Enthralling the audience with his trademark extempore lecture, and impromptu comments, Shahrukh Khan reigned supreme.

Although the programme was scheduled to start at 4.30 pm, it could actually begin only at 6.30 pm. But there was no sign of the impatience for the audience, as Khan eventually made an appearance sporting a black business-suit.

The entire stadium reverberated with whistles and laughter for almost two minutes when the star started his conversation with his avid fans in Kannada asking them - ‘Hege Iddeera’.

Recalling his Bangalore days, he said his grand parents are from this City who lived somewhere on Nandidurga Extention near Jayamahal Extention. He spent six years of his life in Bangalore untill he moved to Delhi.

Concept of success
Talking about his concept of success, Shahrukh said people who are scared of failure often succeed in their lives. “Success cannot teach you anything nor it can give you wisdom. But the fear of failure is the key to success. Always be scared of becoming a failure,” advised the star.

Remembering his parents, Shah Rukh said, they were not successful and remained a middle class family. He worked hard in his life because he was very afraid of poverty.
Once the interactions were completed, Khan switched gears to dive straight into the quiz programme. His presentations had doses galore of famous dialogues from his popular movies.

The star even displayed his dancing skills before the audience.
The arrival of Shahrukh Khan to anchor this programme was the talk of the town and people from all walks of life made a beeline at the Koramangala Indoor Stadium to catch a glimpse of the actor.

Cops misbehave with scribes
Mediamen, particularly from the electronic media, were in for some rude treatment from the policemen deployed at the entrace of Shahrukh Khan’s event.
At least four camera-persons and reporters of national TV channels were thrown out for not hanging their identity cards round their necks.

Video-clippings available with news channels showed that the officer who misbehaved with the media was H T Ramesh, an Assistant Commissioner of Police from the Banashankari Circle.

He reportedly threatened to resort to a lathicharge if the media did not obey his instructions.

This misbehaviour compelled the television journalists to stage a demonstration outside the Koramangala Stadium. Finally, senior police officials intervened and assured to conduct an inquiry into the episode.
