Mumbai:Sikandar is written and directed by Piyush Jha. The film is set in Kashmir. Sikandar isn’t film is not on terrorism or Jihad but it is the story of a boy, who comes upon a gun.
Parzaan Dastur plays Sikandar Raza, a 14 year old boy, whose parents are murdered by Jihadis. Sikandar attends to a local school and is bullied by school boys. He is also impressed by Nasreen, played by the cute Ayesha Kapoor.
Sikandar comes across a gun somehow and is ready to threaten everyone with that in school. But soon, his play becomes deadly. The story after that is improbable.
The film has lot of co-incidences, and baffling scenes. Ayesha Kapoor is the only saving element in the film and looks convincing in her role.
This Big Pictures is releasing this Friday at Manhattan, Los Angeles.
