Alright, hold your horses, folks. Aishwarya Rai is not in the family way and it won’t be soon when the stork will make a visit. But that doesn’t mean she won’t settle down in the bliss of motherhood in the coming years.
Ever since Ash and Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot more than two years ago, there has been constant speculation regarding when the two would start a family. Many believed that Ash wouldn’t like to have kids for a few years because her career is going great guns.
Since the Bachchans pay a great deal of importance to family values, having kids and raising them up would mean Ash taking a break, if not say goodbye, from Bollywood for a few years a la actresses like Kajol and Madhuri Dixit who have given preference to their family over films.
In a latest interview by a Mumbai tabloid, when Abhishek was asked about kids, he had a very clear reply.
“Kids are great. I think part of the reason why you want to get married is that you want to settle down and start a family and have kids. I think two should be good. Hum do hamare do,” Abhishek told the tabloid.
Wonder what Ash would have to say about that.
By the way, Abhi’s way of thinking is not very different from his illustrious father Amitabh Bachchan who also settled for two kids - a boy and a girl.
