With Aishwarya Rai falling ill, Vipul Shah’s Action Replay, which was to release this year, has now been postponed to next year. Aishwarya still has to shoot three songs for the film.
Aishwarya, along with her husband Abhishek Bachchan, had been busy shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. Unfortunately Raavan had taken a lot longer to shoot because director Mani Ratnam had fallen ill and then there were several portions which had to be reworked. The actress was simultaneously shooting for Robot and once she completed the shoot, she headed straight for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan. Such heavy work schedules and all the travelling seemed to have taken a toll on the actress who’s now ill with severe flu and chest pain.
Her superstar father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog from Singapore: “Aishwarya has taken ill and is down with chest infection and flu-like symptoms” earlier. “She has had a high fever yesterday but is settling down today."
