Miss Universe contest today, all eyes on Ekta Chaudhary

New Delhi: With countdown beginning for final of the Miss Universe Contest scheduled for today at Bahamas, all eyes are on Miss India Ekta Chaudhary representing India in the contest.

Nation has high expectations from Ekta who is participating in the contest from India. Ekta, who was born on March 31, 1986 in Varanasi, resides in Gurgaon. 23-year-old Ekta won Pantaloon Femina Miss India Universe Title this year.

As many as 84 dazzling beauties are there to grab the Miss Universe title. Twelve internationally acclaimed judges will judge the contest in which most gorgeous beauties are contestants.

One winner from the 84 contestants will be selected by a panel of 12 renowned judges during the two-hour show on Monday. While the LIVE telecast will air at 6.30 am IST on STAR WORLD on August 24, you could catch a repeat of the pageant at 9 pm on 24th August.
