Bollywood is one of the biggest film industries in the world, and Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan rule this particular roost. Bollywood is well known for producing 3 hours films with plenty of action, tears, bright colors, dancing and singing. Of late Bollywood has attracted models and actors from other countries and has influenced some major Hollywood productions such as Moulin Rouge. In turn, some Bollywood celebrities have also been crossing over to Hollywood. We talked about Mallika Sherawat recently, who starring in the Jennfer Lynch "Hisss" coming out soon. Aishwarya Rai is another actress who has been active in Hollywood, not too long after she was crowned Miss World in 1994. We have seen her in Pink Panther 2 most recently, but her biggest US hit was probably Bride and Prejudice. Abhishek has not appeared in major Hollywood movies, but both his parents are famous Bollywood actors. Ash and Abhi as they are called, were both well known actors when they married in 2007.

Ash and Abhi were recently invited to Oprah for a personal television interview. During that interview, when they were asked about their love story, Abhi said, "I was filming in New York for a movie," he says. "And I used to stand on the balcony of my hotel room and wish that, 'One day, wouldn't it be nice if I was together with her, married.'" Much later, when they were actually a couple, they came back to New York City for the premiere of a movie "Guru", and Abhi proposed to her on the same balcony.

About a possible pregnancy, Aishwarya said "I have been proclaimed pregnant already a couple of times. I'm like, 'Okay, is that a hint?'" she says. "People would be watching every little bulge, and I'm like, "Oh my God. If you're not in shape, you're pregnant."

Oprah also asked them about their living arrangements - as they stay with Abhi's parents. "It's normal," Ash says. "It's absolutely natural to us. … I lived with my parents before we got married, so it's a natural thing." Oprah told them she agreed that it was absolutely normal and that she appreciated it. Drawbacks ? Well, they did not say it was a drawback but one of the rules set by Abhi's mom (Jaya) is that if they are all in the city they have to have one meal a day together.
