Rambha's blonde avataar of Mango Dolly in Quick Gun Murugan has raised her status. The specially designed blonde wig (imported from the US) has added to her consierable charms. Rambha was surprised when she learnt that 25 wigs (costing a minor fortune) had been used, but at the end of the shoot, only five were found intact. “Nothing was stolen but many got damaged while canning the action sequences. All part of the movie and expenditure,” said Rambha on a TV show, savouring the experience of enacting the role of Mango Dolly, a heady mix of Hannah Montana and a Barbie doll.
Rambha is hoping for a new innings after QGM, banking on her newfound popularity and hoping for a cult status.
