Rahul Bose ready for Kollywood

Rahul Bose
Art film lovers don’t need an introduction for Rahul Bose. He is known for his unforgettable roles in films such as 'Pyar Ke Side Effects', 'Jhankar Beats', 'Mr and Mrs Iyer' and 'Everybody says I am Fine'.

Time Asia magazine named him 'the superstar of Indian art house cinema' for his contributions to parallel cinema through films like 'English', 'August' and 'Mr and Mrs Iyer'.

This Bollywood actor-cum-social activist was recently in Chennai for the campaign of India's largest design for giving school contest. “If good scripts, directors and film crew are there I am ready to act in any language films, whether is Tamil or Italian,” he says.

Saying that he is currently working in four projects, including Aparna Sen's 'Japanese Wife', a thriller, a comedy and a romance, the actor says “films can make sensible people more sensible and that sense of sensibility and compassion will make you a better human being.”

“Films have a small impact on society. It can be negative or positive. But the impact is very little,” he adds.
