Shruti Hassan's bikini show: Highlight of Luck

shruti hassan
Is life just a game of Luck? It seems so for actors Imran Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Shruti Hassan and director Soham Shah. The judgement day has finally arrived. Their film Luck, which is releasing today, will ride on luck to a great extend, as the film lovers are going to have a taste of an action thriller after a long hiatus.

Coming to the hype around Luck, Shruti Hassan is one to watch out; not just because she is the daughter of Superstar Kamal Hassan but for her daring ways. She seems to be not riding on her dad's fame, as she is not leaving any stone unturned to make her own niche in Bollywood. She's got the guts to appear in a bikini in her very first film itself. It is said that she has performed some unbelievable stunts besides providing glamour to the film. Shruti is certainly one of the highlights of Luck.

Imran Khan is another actor to watch out in this death-defying action film. He was made to experience the pain of failure in Kidnap after having had a dream debut with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. This time around, he has chosen action to woo the film lovers. He is said to have performed dangerous stunts in Luck. The fate of this film will surely influence his future course of action.

Another highlight of Luck is Sanjay Dutt. He will be seen for the first time on screen since he forayed into politics. Having faced lots hardships both in political arena as well as personal life, Munnabhai must be banking on Luck to do away with the bad memories.

Director Soham Shah's heart must be beating like never before, as Luck is a sort of 'do or die' game after the debacle of his directorial debut Kaal in 2004. This time around, he has Bollywood's chocolate boy Imran Khan Tamil superstar Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti Hassan to pull him out of the danger zone. He also has roped in actors like Mithun Chakraborty, Danny Denzongpa, Ravi Kishan, Chitrashi Rawat, Rati Agnihotri and Snita Mahey. Shree Ashtavinayak Cine vision Ltd produces the film with music composed by Salim-Sulaiman.

The hype around Luck is so far so good but we'll come to know its true colour only after a couple of days. It is hitting the theatres today. Watch out!

Shruti Hassan: An Acting Legacy?

Shruti Hassan
When your father is a film legend it’s only natural for you to enter the film industry too! That’s the case with Shruti Hassan, also known as Kamal Hassan’s daughter. While she’s been busy performing with her band, the newcomer has made her Bollywood debut in Soham Shah’s “Luck” opposite cutie Imran Khan.

Most assumed that the film would be a breezy teen love story, but it turned out to be the opposite! There is a romance between Shruti and Imran, but the film is actually a high octane action film in which Shruti got to do some stunts herself. “We’ve crossed all boundaries that might have never existed while filming action films,” said Shruti.

Unfortunately the film “Luck” wasn’t so lucky for Shruti as it did very poorly at the box office. The critics didn’t give her rave reviews for her work playing the character Ayesha in the film either. The film however did give Shruti Hassan more exposure as a singer since she sang “Luck’s” opening track, “Aazma.”

So it looks like her career as a songstress continues to flourish whereas her acting profession is undetermined. She is still getting chances to hone her acting skills by preparing for her next two projects, “Unnapol Orauvan,” a Tamil movie and “Eenadu,” a Telegu film. Hopefully, Shruti will find a place for herself in Bollywood at some point as well.

After all, we have seen actors like Saif Ali Khan who have had a rough start but sky rocketed to success once they got the perfect role. Maybe this was just the right B-town lead to jumpstart the actresses’ career. Being Kamal Hassan’s daughter may have gotten her in, but now it’s up to her to keep her career afloat. Will Miss Hassan be able to accomplish this? Give us your thoughts on this debutant.
