I'm not weakened by the response of 'Life Partner': Prachi Desai

Mumbai: Prachi Desai, the rockstar who made her debut with 'Rock-on!' is again in the news and is definitely making some waves round the corner as her new film released in the previous week.

The girl is surely happy with her new release though the film is not worth a watch but still one cannot wholly blame the actors. Similarly, Prachi has conferred in an interview that she had focused more on the work in this film than that she has delivered in the earlier one which was a smash hit and gave the star, the necessary launch.

The girl was pretty excited before the launch which got a poor rating by the critics and also a poor response by the viewers nevertheless the response will not weaken the girl and she is surely to be seen rising again, all we wish her is all the best!

Spotted: Prachi and Tushar going wild!

Prachi Desai and Tushar Kapoor were shooting in the reserve forest of South Africa for a song sequence of Life Partner . Africa is known for its natural habitat and openness with which the animals live.

So while shooting for a song Prachi and Tushar came across these beautiful cheetah cubs playing around. That’s when director Rumi Jaffery spotted a cinematic opportunity and got the dup to play which then became part of the song.

Prachi Desai shy of stepping into bathtub

For Prachi Desai, making a transition from a sari-clad bahu to a modern woman in Rock On wasn’t that tough. But is she ready to take on the bold roles that require her to show skin to the camera.

Nopes! if a recent incident on the sets of director Rumi Jaffery’s film Life Partner is to go by. A song from the film required Prachi to drop her inhibitions as well as clothes. It comes at a point in the story when a newly-wed Prachi and her hubby Tusshar Kapoor get romantic on their honeymoon and she steps into a bathtub.

Now, Prachi was so shy about stepping into the bathtub in front of the shooting crew that she gave certain suggestions to the director to escape the situation. She reportedly told the director that she could dance in front of the bathtub instead of lying in it. Or she suggested wrapping herself in a shawl in the bathtub.

Expectedly, the suggestions were shot down by the director and the poor Prachi had to battle her shyness. She finally did the scene with many ‘ifs and buts’ and of course with the shawl!
