Imran Khan joins hand with Aamir’s enemy

Bhanja Imran Khan and mama Aamir Khan goes in two opposite directions. They both will scorch the ramp but for two contrasting personalities. While Imran Khan will share the ramp with Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan for Karan Johar’s designer collection, Aamir will walk the ramp for Salman Khan’s charity ‘Being Human’.

Aamir will blaze the ramp on October 11 and Imran will walk for Karan Johar on October 16. Rambir Kapoor is the added attraction of the show, he will walk for Karan who is launching his own line of men’s clothing, along with Delhi-based designer Varun Behl.

Designer Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna will design clothes for Aamir Khan. Saif Ali Khan, Govinda, Katrina Kaif, Sunny Deol, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar will also be a part of Salman’s show.

‘Mama’ Aamir walks for Salman while ‘Bhaanja’ Imran walks with SRK

Mumbai: The most spectacular, one of a kind star studded fashion show is the talk of the town in Bollyland these days. The upcoming HDIL Couture Fashion Week has all the diamonds it needs to glitter its ramp with showbiz.

Earlier, while Salman and SRK pitted against each other to have the final act of the event, news is that now Aamir Khan and Imran Khan too will walk on the runway, but for their respective friends from rival camps.

While Aamir is the showstopper for Salman’s Being Human show on October 11, Imran will share ramp space with Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan for Karan Johar’s show on October 16.

Looks like the Mama-Bhaanja duo have headed in opposite directions, atleast on the ramp.

Avantika and I are not officially engaged: Imran Khan

Yes, the chocolate boy has been with his girlfriend Avantika since seven years. But this longstanding fact hasn’t deterred him to declare that he is officially single! There hasn’t been any tiff between the much in love couple – the thing is just that they are yet to be officially engaged.

The young heartthrob tweets, “We`ve been together for 7 years now. Oh! And thank you all for your kind wishes. We`re not officially engaged yet, haven`t had a ceremony and stuff, but we`ve taken the decision.”

When his followers on Twitter questioned about the date for the ‘official’ solemnization, the lad replied, “We haven`t locked a wedding date yet, but not to worry... The second we do, the media will let you know!”

With such a ‘tweet’ and net-savvy celeb, we can be sure of that!

Being single won’t help Imran

Imran Khan may have gone down on his knees and proposed to girlfriend Avantika, but they haven’t set a date yet.

On Avatika, he says, “We've been together for 7 years now.”

He tweets to his “followers”, “Oh and thank you all for your kind wishes. We're not officially engaged yet, haven't had a ceremony and stuff, but we've taken the decision.”

The actor, whose next release will be I Hate Love Stories, believes, “I don't think audiences care if you're single or not. In fact, I feel they appreciate someone who is honest about his life.”

On Delhi Belly, he says, “No idea when DB will release, but it won't be this year. I think IHLS will be my next release, probably May/June next year.”

On the wedding date, he says tongue-in-cheek, “We haven't locked a wedding date yet, but not to worry... The second we do, the media will let you know!”

We will, Imran... you can count on us for that one!

Engaged: Imran proposes, Avantika says, YES!

Sorry girls, for breaking your heart but your sweetheart Imran Khan is now offically engaged to his sweetheart and longtime girlfriend, Avantika Malik.

Avantika is Vandana Malik's daughter, who heads Studio18 and a very close friend of Aamir Khan.

“Yes it’s true. But we’re planning to have a proper ceremony later, so right now it’s just for us and our families,” admitted Imran refusing to reveal the wedding date.

A source adds, “Imran had thrown a surprise party for Avantika on her birthday on July 18, a very private affair, with only very close family and friends present. There he surprised everyone by proposing to Avantika. Amidst much cheering, she accepted.”

Though the formal engagement ceremony will be held in January, Bollywood got a whiff of the news over the weekend at Arjun Rampal's lounge bar cum restaurant opening in the Capital where the enthusiastic host made the announcement public amongst all the Bollywood biggies who congratulated the couple.
