Uday Chopra is addicted to his daily workout routine, which also includes an hour of running on the treadmill. However, his love for running has resulted in a health scare. The actor was recently diagnosed with tibio-fibular dysfunction - a condition that develops after running or over exerting oneself.
The actor however doesn't seem to be worried about his condition, "It just sounds ominous. I have been running for a long time. I run non-stop for an hour everyday and that's taken a toll on my joints."
The fact that he is flat-footed has aggravated the condition, "My flat feet have to bear the body weight and as a result of which my joints are under stress. The physiotherapist told me that it's also due to the way I put down my foot while running. So I have to change that and then everything will be fine."
When asked if he was overdoing the gym-rat bit he says, "Not really. I have been working out for a very long time so it's nothing new. It's just a condition that needs some correction. I love running and I don't think anything can make me give it up."
